8:30am to 5:30pm | Kerr Hall (Upper Gym, six courts) and Recreation & Athletic Centre (RAC, three courts), Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). 

Spectators and guests welcome! Bring your fan-club and cheer squad! The gymnasium has a seating gallery with great views of all the action.

Registration

** Update ** Tournament registration is now closed. Year-end banquet sign ups will continue to be accepted.

Our tournament is now open to everyone! We can host 45 doubles teams total and we are at about 70 per cent capacity as of Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Both doubles players must register and pay independently. Each team’s entry is considered complete based on the second player’s payment time stamp.

Pool (level) caps will be adjusted based on registrations. Register and pay promptly to secure your spot!

Levels & Shuttle types

Tournament Level BADinTO Level Shuttle Type Outside Player Guideline
A* (advanced) Red Feather* Seasoned player with tournament experience
B* (high intermediate) Green Feather* Skilled player but with limited tournament experience
C (intermediate) Yellow-Green Nylon Mid-level player more skilled than novice
D (novice) Yellow & Blue Nylon Beginner or new to the sport

* Tournament will provide ONE feather shuttle per set; players to provide their own feather shuttles as needed.

Doubles teams that contain players from different levels must compete in the higher level. For example, a BADinTO red + green doubles team must play in A.

The tournament committee reserves the right to adjust registration levels at our discretion.

Tournament format

One round robin pool play for seeding, followed by playoffs with a double elimination format. Smaller pools may compete in two round robin sessions without elimination. Additional details will be provided to participants after registration is closed and pools are finalized.
